Star Tiger Tom Lynch has been handed a $500 fine with an early plea for his misconduct towards Lion Alex Witherden in last night’s clash.

After tackling Witherden in the first quarter, Lynch preceded to aggressively push his face into the ground.

The incident was assessed as misconduct and classified as a $750 sanction as his first offence. He can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.

Additionally, Brisbane defender Harris Andrews can accept a $1000 fine for rough conduct (dangerous tackle) on Lynch.

The incident was graded as careless Conduct, low Impact and high contact.
