SEN's Michelangelo Rucci has linked out-of-contract Crow Brad Crouch with a shock move to Port Adelaide.

It follows a report last month from 7News that the star midfielder could switch to the crosstown rivals.

The 26-year old is set to to become a restricted free agent this off-season and has no shortage of suitors - with Essendon and Geelong among the clubs reportedly interested.

Crouch had a career-best 2019 season, averaging 30.1 disposals, 5.1 tackles and 5.5 clearances a game to win the Crows' best and fairest.

He averaged 22 disposals from 12 games in 2020.

Speaking on SEN SA Drive, Rucci believes there is a "genuine chance" Crouch ends up at Alberton.

“I think there’s a genuine chance that Brad Crouch is going to take the free agency path to Port Adelaide,” he said on SEN SA Drive.

“Brad Crouch is a free agent and he’s going to have suitors and we could see a club champion go to a rival.

“We know Adelaide is firm on where they stand on him, be it a three-year contract, but I think (Port Adelaide) would give him greater terms than he would at Adelaide.”

If Crouch departs Adelaide could receive Pick 2 as compensation to bundle with their Pick 1.
