St Kilda midfielder Mattaes Phillipou has reaffirmed his commitment to the club, signing a two-year extension that will keep him put until the end of 2028.
The Saints have been busy throughout the year, ensuring the landing of Carlton free agent Tom De Koning, as well as the retention of All-Australian Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.
And Phillipou's signature just increases the Moorabbin club's prospects heading into the future.
The South Australia arrived at St Kilda with Pick 10 in the 2022 National Draft, and has played 43 games, albeit this year was marred by injury.
The classy left-footer was noted as one of the most impressive in his draft year, and has already shown glimpses of his brilliance, resulting in a new deal.

"Since arriving just three years ago, we've seen tremendous growth in Mattaes both as a player and a person," EGM Football David Misson said.
"His relentless commitment to getting better, whether that's on the field or in the rehab group, has been second to none.
"We're very pleased to have him signed on and look forward to what he will continue to bring to the club's future."
Phillipou played every game in his maiden season, and is a player Ross Lyon is keen to get back into the senior side.
Despite fears of a return to his home state, the 20-year-old reassured that his future is at St Kilda.
"I'm really grateful to the club for the extension. There's nowhere else I'd rather be," Phillipou said.
"Although it's been an up and down start to my career, I've never been more hungry and determined to repay the faith shown in me.

"With the energy from the coaches and young core coming through, I'm very excited to be a part of the future here at the club."
Among Phillipou and NAS' re-signings, as well as the commitment from De Koning, the Saints are also heavily into the player movement space that is set for October.
Sam Flanders, Liam Ryan, Cam Mackenzie, Leek Aleer and Jack Silvagni are all players who have been flagged as intriguing prospects.
It is also understood that Marcus Windhager is closer to re-signing despite interest from North Melbourne.
Windhager was offered a five-year deal by the Kangaroos, which has been reportedly matched by the Saints.
