Online bookmaker Sportsbet are facing a potential lawsuit for voiding AFL bets over the weekend.

Sportsbet declined bets which allowed punters to put a multi on whether or not any player would get 40 or disposals in every game from round 10.

A new Twitter account, Sportsbet Lawsuit, was created for people who were outraged by the action, which already has 1000 followers.

The account claims to have "enquired" with lawyers Slater and Gordon regarding the class action.

“Any screenshots of voided bets, evidence that you think is relevant, please (send to me) directly,” the account states.

AFL National assistant producer Adrian Johnson said on Twitter that 2000 punters “would’ve been paid out more than $9 million”.

Sportsbet issued an email to punters who had their bats voided, claiming the odds published were incorrect meaning they were in their rights to cancel them.
