Gold Coast ruckman Zac Smith has nominated Geelong as his preferred destination.
The 25-year-old has played 65 career games for the Suns, but recently lost the No.1 ruck mantle to teammate Tom Nicholls, following an injury plagued 2014.
Smith makes four players Geelong will try to recruit in the upcoming trade period, with the Cats trying to finalise deals for Patrick Dangerfield, Lachie Henderson and Scott Selwood.
