It's official. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera will remain a Saint for at least the next two seasons.
The Saints have locked in the superstar talent until the end of 2027 on a contract reportedly valued at $2 million per season, with the 22-year-old turning down offers from both South Australian clubs, who had been in hot pursuit of the midfielder all year.
The historic deal sees Wanganeen-Milera become the first player in AFL history to earn at least $2 million annually.
Wanganeen-Milera highlighted the influence St Kilda has had on his growth as a footballer and person, and hopes to play a factor in the club's future success.
"From the moment I arrived at St Kilda, the staff and my teammates have supported me in every way, not just to be a better footballer, but a better person," Wanganeen-Milera said.
"I know how special it is to pull on the red, white and black. Every time I run out, I'm representing my family, my culture and this club. That means everything to me.
"I've still got so much I want to improve in my game, and I know this is the right place for me to keep growing. I've got great people around me who push me to be better every day.
"I want to help create something long-lasting here. We've got a tight group and a clear direction, and I'm proud to be part of building that future."

The Saints speedster revealed that he only decided on remaining at Moorabbin last week after deliberation with his family and manager.
Wanganeen-Milera said it "wasn't right to leave" the club.
"The friendships I've created here. I want to achieve something special with them," he said.
"There'd be no better feeling than doing that, and I've got relationships here and I love all the boys."
St Kilda's Executive General Manager of Football David Misson was thrilled by Wanganeen-Milera's commitment to the club as the Saints look to conclude their 2025 campaign with a fifth consecutive win this weekend.
"Nasiah's commitment to the club is a strong vote of confidence in not only the culture we've built, but in the future we're creating both on and off the field," Misson said.
"Nas is a well-loved and deeply connected member of our team. His decision to stay is brilliant news for the entire footy club, from the playing group to our loyal supporters.
"He's an incredibly exciting and talented footballer, and we're thrilled to watch him continue to develop as an integral part of our club."
Wanganeen-Milera had reportedly received significant offers from Adelaide and Port Adelaide as the wait for his official decision wore on.
According to 9 News' Tom Morris, Adelaide's offer was in the range of $1.5 to $1.7 million per season for four years, while the Power had tabled a ridiculous 12-year contract, valued at up to $2.5 million per season, or up to $30 million in total.
While the contract offers sound mind-boggling, Wanganeen-Milera's value is undeniable at 22 years old. He's featured in the midfield more regularly in his last five games, attending close to 70% of all centre bounces and has dominated in that role, averaging 32.6 disposals, 5.4 inside 50s, 6.2 clearances and 1.6 goals per game, highlighting the enormous impact he'll have for years to come.
