Injuries have further soured a horrendous evening for the Saints at Adelaide Oval.
Youngster Hugh Goddard was stretchered off with what appeared to be a serious leg injury. He later reappeared on the bench in a moon boot.
Young forward Paddy McCartin was also stretchered off, after suffering a sickening head collision with teammate Jack Newnes.
He was placed in a neck brace and taken off the ground.
