St Kilda pair Sam Fisher and Tom Hickey have been ruled out of the Saints' clash with Richmond on Staurday with injury.

Fisher, who came from the ground during the third quarter against the Swans after an incident with Toby Nankervis, has been cleared of any structural damage to his jaw.

However, he will miss the match with a low-grade hamstring injury, which he sustained earlier in the game.

“Sam Fisher copped a knock to the jaw. He was cleared of any significant damage in that incident which is good, however Sam did suffer a low level hamstring strain during the game, more so tightness,” General Manager of Football Performance, Jamie Cox told the club's website.

“He’ll miss this week but he’ll be a test next week, so we’re hopeful that he’ll be okay to play against the Lions next week."

Hickey injured his lower leg in the first quarter and managed to play out the match, however, was clearly hampered during the game.

“Hick’s already been ruled out also this week. He suffered a calf strain, reasonably low level and he’s recovering fairly well. He’ll be a test to take on the Lions next week,” Cox said.

Meanwhile, Jarryn Geary, who was a late withdrawal last weekend after tweaking his back in the warm up, will face a fitness test later this week.
