Carlton supporters have ensured that the club see their suffering after the Blues' latest disappointing loss, with a bleak first half effort against Port Adelaide resulting in a 50-point loss in a game expected to have an emotionally-charged response.

The Blues came off a shock defeat to North Melbourne in Round 15, trailing by 46 at the three-quarter-time break before a last quarter flurry saved face from a more humiliating final scoreline.

Carlton were expected to show more fight in the clash against Port Adelaide, one where both sides were desperate to overcome losses to keep their finals hopes alive, while the Blues walked into the battle off a week of heavy scrutiny, including the viability of head coach Michael Voss remaining at the helm.

With their latest premiership before the turn of the century, and their current list, built for premiership contention, has offered little hope since the club's 2023 preliminary final, Blues supporters have demonstrated their frustration at the club's continual lack of success.

Vandalising the club's Princes Park headquarters overnight, messages targeted towards the club have let a fan's voice be heard.

In black spray paint, the vandal wrote "sack the board, sack (Nick) Austin and (Brad) Lloyd. Keep Voss, TDK (Tom De Koning) yes or no?".

Austin and Lloyd are Carlton's list manager and football manager, while the question posed towards De Koning concerns the star ruckman's contract choice, as the tall weighs up a lucrative move to St Kilda.

Intriguingly, the vandal said that the club should keep Voss, going against the vocal sentiment in the media landscape and through talkback radio callers.

According to Nine, police are investigating the tagging, with multiple CCTV cameras in the area.

Voss called for calm in his press conference on Thursday night, stating the club's players, staff, and fans must remain united to overcome their slump in form.

The Carlton coach also promoted the Blues' improvements in multiple statistical metrics this season, but stated there must be "collective accountability" to ensure the Blues' gameplan stacks up across all four quarters.
