Recently delisted Port Adelaide forward Jed McEntee is returning to play for Sturt in the SANFL for the 2026 season.
McEntee was delisted by the Power after playing 52 AFL games and kicking 31 goals across five seasons at Alberton.
He was picked up in the 2021 Mid-Season Draft by Port Adelaide with Pick 13 after winning Sturt's emerging player award in the 2020 SANFL season.
He made his debut in his first season at the Power in Round 18 against St Kilda, coming into the game as the sub.
McEntee featured in five games for the Power during the 2025 season, kicking a goal in each game, averaging 8.7 disposals and three tackles per match.
The 24-year-old was joined by Rory Atkins (retired), Travis Boak (retired), Ryan Burton (delisted), Lachlan Charleson (delisted), Jeremy Finlayson (delisted), Hugh Jackson (delisted), Willie Rioli (retired) and Dylan Williams (delisted) in leaving Alberton this off-season.

Finlayson (Myponga-Sellicks), Charleson (East Point), Williams (Surrey Park), Rioli (Tiwi Bombers) and Boak (Torquay) have also found new clubs for 2026, while Atkins has joined Melbourne's coaching staff in their development department.
Sturt is bolstering their side after winning the SANFL premiership in 2025, with former West Coast Eagle Loch Rawlinson, along with McEntee, heading to Unley Oval.
