The Worpedo deserves an inclusion simply for that effort against Joel Selwood but he also had 23 touches and four clearances.

Lachie Whitfield (GWS)

Whitfield is tipped to win the Giants’ B&F this year after starring in a new role in the backline. 30 disposals, six rebound 50s and 11 marks was huge.

Scott Lycett (West Coast)

Lycett has been very good in the absence of Naitanui and he dominated All Australian ruckman Paddy Ryder with 40 hitouts, 19 disposals and five marks.

Dyson Heppell (Essendon)

The Bombers’ skipper leads from the front week in week out and ran out the game strong despite having no fit players on the bench.
