North Melbourne youngster Mitch Hibberd has suffered a serious knee injury in a highly unfortunate and innocuous incident while playing for Werribbe in the VFL on the weekend.
Hibberd was jogging completely by himself on the wing when he fell to ground clutching his left knee.
He was in serious pain and was stretchered off the ground, with fears that he has ruptured his ACL.

Hibberd is not a stranger to knee injuries, undergoing a knee reconstruction in 2014.
He was selected with pick No.33 in last year's National Draft and he is yet to play a senior game.
