Richmond's busy week of re-signings has continued, with the Punt Road club confirming the retention of young Tigers defender Tom Brown.
Brown has penned a new deal with the club to secure his services through to the end of the 2027 season.
“Tom has put together some consistent AFL football across the past two seasons and is showing that he belongs on an AFL field,” Tigers talent manager Blair Hartley said.
“His exciting traits are evident for all to see, and we are pleased that he will continue to grow his game along with our team across the coming years.
“Tom has put in a lot of work behind the scenes to establish himself at AFL level, and this contract is a reward for his efforts.”
Brown has played 27 games in the yellow and black since making his debut against Port Adelaide in 2023, which would be his sole appearance for the season.
The 21-year-old would have to wait until his third campaign to secure a role at AFL level, with Brown appearing in 18 games under coach Adem Yze in 2024.
The young interceptor has played all eight games for Richmond this year, averaging 13.75 disposals, 5.13 marks and 3.88 rebound 50s per game.
His re-signing is Richmond's sixth for the week, with the Tigers having secured new deals for Luke Trainor, Harry Armstrong, Thomas Sims, James Trezise and Steely Green in recent days.
