Richmond star Dion Presita has had a minor injury setback.

The midfielder had a minor procedure on his injured ankle that will slightly delay his rehab.

His wound had an infection which required a minor Arthroscope.

Prestia will have a short period of recovery prior to resuming his rehab process.

“It’s a minor setback for Dion, however, he’ll be back into his program next week,” Richmond’s General Manager - Football Performance, Tim Livingstone told richmondfc.com.au.

Presita suffered a syndesmosis injury in the Round 5 win over Melbourne.

He has spent most of his time in rehabilitation in Melbourne following surgery in early July.
