Richmond have secured new contracts for draftees Luke Trainor, Harry Armstrong and Thomas Sims, who have all added another year to their inaugural deals.
Already tied to Tigerland until the end of next year, all three of Trainor, Armstrong and Sims are now locked in until the end of the 2027 season.
“Luke, Harry and Tom have all adapted well to the demands of AFL football, and we are excited to be able to extend their contracts for another year,” Tigers talent league Blair Hartley said in a club statement.
“They have each made strong starts to their time at Richmond, and we all look forward to watching them continue to develop over the coming years.”
Trainor has played all eight games under Adem Yze this year, slotting into the Tigers' defensive unit as an agile interceptor.
The Sandringham Dragons product, who was taken wth Pick 21 in last year's draft, is averaging 15.25 disposals and 5.50 marks per game to start his career.
Armstrong is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury that has limited the young tall forward to four games in his debut season.
Flagged for a mid-year return, the 195cm talent managed a goal per game from his quartet of appearances after debuting in Round 1.
Sims is yet to feature at AFL level but has shown signs in the VFL as a key forward and ruck hybrid, booting five goals in as many games.
The trio of extensions see Trinor, Armstrong and Sims now join fellow draftees Sam Lalor, Josh Smillie, Jonty Faull and Taj Hotton in being signed until the end of 2027.
