The voting for Zero Hanger's 2025 Finals MVP has been locked in after week three of the AFL finals, with a Geelong star polling a perfect game, and a Brisbane young gun moving up to second on the leaderboard.

Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield put his side on his back to drag the Cats over the line against Hawthorn. Dangerfield was able to gather 31 disposals alongside three goals, 20 contested possessions, 13 score involvements and eight clearances.

This performance saw the Cats' skipper poll a perfect 20-vote game, which takes him to sixth on our leaderboard.

Bailey Smith and Gryan Miers gained their first votes of the finals, with Smith getting 13 votes for his 36-disposal, one-goal performance. Miers was right behind him with 11 votes, as he got 27 disposals and one goal.

Three Brisbane players received double-digit votes in their 29-point win against the Pies. Hugh McCluggage led the way with 18 votes as he gathered 37 disposals with 10 clearances and a goal.

Co-Captain Harris Andrews was a rock in defence, his 18 disposals, 13 marks and nine intercepts saw him gain 16 votes to add to his tally. Andrews and McCluggage are now tied for third on our leaderboard with 26 votes each.

Last year's winner, Will Ashcroft, secured 13 votes, thanks to his solid 20 disposals and two-goal performance. The 13 votes puts him at a total of 30 for the finals, vaulting him into second place.

Leader Jai Newcombe was unable to secure any votes after his near-perfect start, with 39 votes. With the AFL Grand Final votes being worth double, a Lion or Cat will likely overtake him to win Zero Hanger Finals MVP.

Each week of this finals series, four Zero Hanger judges will give 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 votes on every game, with votes in the 2025 AFL Grand Final to be worth double.

Past winners of the Zero Hanger Final MVP include Will Ashcroft (2024) and Bobby Hill (2023).
