Two-time premiership Richmond winger Kamdyn McIntosh has returned to the club in a newly created role as past players liaison.

McIntosh, who departed the club at the end of last year after two flags and 213 games for the Tigers, will support the club's past players engagement plans, helping integrate former AFL and AFLW players.

He will work on enhancing existing engagement and connection networks, attending games across the country as a part of the off-field role.

"As part of our 2030 Strategy, the club identified the need to build a Past Players Engagement Plan, with a focus on creating a deeper connection with our past AFL and AFLW players," Richmond CEO Shane Dunne said.

"In developing this plan, we have appointed Kamdyn to be a go-to connection between the Club and our former AFL and AFLW players.

"Kamdyn's role will be to help past players stay engaged and feel recognised as a part of the Richmond community."

The news comes as local club Montmorency announced its signing of McIntosh for the 2026 season.

The Magpies, who play in the Northern Football Netball League, will benefit from the two-time premiership Tiger.

Coach Nick Rutley said: "We are just so excited to have someone with Kamdyn's immense capabilities to help elevate this group to the next level.

"Obviously a very good footballer, but even more importantly just a terrific person."
