Melbourne forward Charlie Spargo could reportedly be on the move as the 2021 premiership player weighs up his future at the Demons.
The Kangaroos are reportedly showing heavy interest in acquiring his talents, according to AFL Media's Cal Twomey, as they look to bolster their crumbing forward stocks around spearhead Nick Larkey.
North Melbourne could potentially use the lure of Spargo's family as a draw to the club. Charlie's father, Paul, played 81 games at Arden Street in the 80s and 90s.
The 25-year-old is currently out of contract and has featured in just 11 senior games for the Demons in the past two seasons due to an unlucky run of injuries, averaging 9.6 disposals and 2.6 tackles per game.
At VFL level, Spargo found form late in Casey's campaign as he returned from a hamstring strain, recording at least 20 disposals and four marks in his last three matches.

However, Spargo has struggled to find the goals, kicking just two goals in competitive fixtures this season at both AFL and state level.
Twomey did note that Spargo has an extension on the table from the Demons for the 2026 season, which he is expected to consider "in coming weeks".
