Port Adelaide is set to offload another ruckman, with Matthew Lobbe likely to join either Brisbane or the Gold Coast Suns, according to the Herald Sun.

Lobbe has two years to run on his current contract, but struggled for game time in 2017 and has been given the Power's blessing to explore other opportunities.

The Herald Sun reports Lobbe has met with representatives from both the Lions and the Suns in Melbourne on Friday, as he weighs up his future and looks to make a decision on his destination in the coming days.

Lobbe played 21 games in 2013 and 24 in 2014, but has since lost the No.1 ruck spot to All-Australian Paddy Ryder, managing just eight senior matches this season.

He will be the second Port big man to seek a fresh start for more opportunities this off-season, following Jackson Trengove's free agency move to the Western Bulldogs.

The 27-year-old has played a total of 92 matches in six seasons at Alberton. He averaged 29 hitouts, 7.6 disposals and 1.6 marks in his eight games this season.
