Collingwood youngster Jordan De Goey has been left out of Collingwood's final JLT Community Series match against Richmond and is now in doubt for their round one clash against the Western Bulldogs.

Fairfax reports that De Goey may be suffering from a thigh injury, although recent speculation has suggested that it could also be a toe problem that's hampering the 20-year-old.

De Goey has been restricted at training throughout the week, and is now touch-and-go for their season opener.

If De Goey misses the opening round, then he'll join new recruit Daniel Wells and forward Jamie Elliott on the sidelines for their match against the reigning premiers.
