With the trade period out of the way, the delisted free agency mechanism will open to further aid the list builds of clubs keen to bring in experienced AFL assets.
A range of talented players have been shown the door since the cessation of their respective seasons, with many of those cut from lists good enough for another chance.
Clubs across the competition have areas of their squad to fill away from the draft, with key position players who can have an immediate impact among those list needs.
Young clubs that can afford to take a punt on a delisted free agent and contending sides that can secure some depth at a bargain price will also be shopping.
Here we've listed 10 promising delisted free agents and a club that could suit their services.
2Harry Lemmey
Adelaide
The Crows could come for the South Australian tall forward following his axing at Princes Park, with Lemmey perhaps hard done by not getting a debut at AFL level across his three years with the Blues.
Lemmey, a 201cm forward, played 49 games for Carlton's VFL in that time, booting 60 goals to continue to press his case for a senior call-up.
Lemmey kicked 31 goals in 2025, including an eight-game run that earned him a return of 23 majors at the state league level.
The Crows could be an ideal fit for the 21-year-old, who would be back home in SA and stand to be the next-up option in the Crows' key forward stocks.
Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty will dominate the front third for the years to come, but further competition on Taylor Walker's role is required while Tyler Welsh continues to develop and the Crows assess Finnbar Maley's impact.
