Glenelg got the perfect tune-up for their upcoming finals campaign with a commanding 86-point victory over Central District at Elizabeth on Saturday.
Bursting out of the blocks with seven unanswered goals in the opening 15 minutes, the Bays were never troubled as they opened up a 93-point lead midway through the third term.
A more competitive final term from the Dogs kept the margin under triple figures, but the result leaves them with plenty to ponder ahead of this weekend's elimination final.
Putting in such a dominant display, Glenelg had winners all over the ground, with the visitors' midfield in particular producing a stellar performance.
