A post from an anonymous X account (formerly known as Twitter) has been reported to the AFL Integrity Unit by Melbourne after it was revealed that coach Simon Goodwin received an online threat following the shock loss to St Kilda.
The Saints performed the biggest three-quarter time comeback, storming home from 46 points down to win after the siren, with competition star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera kicking a goal to seal the deal.
The account named 'Kozzy Owns You' posted an image of a car in a car park, along with the accompanying caption: "I'm currently waiting outside Simon Goodwin's car: Don't fret, Melbourne fans, you won't need to worry any further."
The AFL and the Demons haven't officially made comment regarding the post.

The league confirmed that it was not Goodwin's car, nor was the image taken at Marvel Stadium.
An AFL spokesperson, according to Channel 9's Tom Morris, said: "The AFL Integrity Unit has investigated the reported tweet regarding Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin post-game. The image posted was not Goodwin's car, nor was it from Marvel Stadium.
"Goodwin has been consulted and does not wish to take the matter further, and there is currently no further action from Victoria Police.
"The AFL is currently working with the platform ‘X' to help identify the owner of the account."
The Demons were near perfect for the first three quarters, putting forward what would historically be an unassailable lead.
But the efforts of Wanganeen-Milera and St Kilda ripped away the premiership points, and turned the game under the roof at Marvel Stadium into a classic, ironically adding another piece of history to the 25-year-old venue.
"Sometimes in your darkest moments can be your biggest growth," Goodwin said.
"When you have a last quarter like that, it's a pretty devastated group in there.
"It's a pretty devastated group of coaches, because we're here to win."
