All-Australian Eagle Jeremy McGovern would love his younger brother Mitch top get traded to West Coast.
Mitch wants a trade out of Adelaide, and there's strong word he will be landing at a Melbourne club, likely Carlton.
But Jeremy is hopeful that one day the brothers can be reunited in their home state.
"I'd like to say yes, but I don't know," McGovern told AFL.com.Â
"I've told him that I'd love him to come back and he knows that.
"If it happens, it would be awesome."
The older McGovern said he only found out about Mitch's move when he rang him to see how some off-season surgery had gone.
"'I'm there for him, whatever he needs," Jeremy said.
"I'm not putting too much input to him, it's up to him."
McGovern, however, is not overly thrilled about the prospect of facing his brother in a heated Western Derby.
"I'd' have to get into him a fair bit," Jeremy said of Mitch potentially joining Fremantle.
"If he does, at least he'll be home, [I'd] see him a bit more.
"But come the derby, it would be pretty interesting."
