Former Tigers great Matthew Richardson has re-drafted the top 10 picks of the 2002 AFL Draft on Sportsday.
Richo re-drafted the the 2001 AFL Draft last week, headlined by Gary Ablett, Luke Hodge and Chris Judd.
Topping Richardson's 2002 re-draft is Essendon great Jobe Watson, who hung up the boots at the end of 2017 after 220 games.
Watson is a two-time All Australian, led the Bombers as skipper from 2010 to 2015 and was controversially stripped of the 2012 Brownlow Medal due to the Essendon supplements saga.
With his second pick, Richardson took former Saints and Bombers star Brendan Goddard, the original number one selection.
Goddard took over the Essendon captaincy from Watson in 2016 when 34 players were suspended to lead the club in its darkest hour. He is a two-time All Australian and won Essendon's best and fairest in his first season at the club in 2013.
Rounding out Richardson's top five is Jarrad McVeigh, Daniel Wells and Kade Simpson.
The Hall of Famer gave honourable mentions to Sean Dempster, Michael Firrito, Will Minson and Jay Schulz, who were also taken in the 2002 draft but didn't crack his top 10.
