Former Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has hit out at remarks made by Channel 7 reporter Tom Browne this morning, in reference to the pair's respective television shows on Monday night.
The Twitter exchange came about because Seven's Talking Footy and Nine's Footy Classified rival each other on a Monday, and both shows this week touched on Dale Thomas' Carlton contract and what it means for him and the club moving forward.
Both stations reported similar news, but due to the fact that Talking Footy airs first, Browne took exception to Footy Classified's methods.
In response to Browne's tweet, Lloyd hit back, telling the reporter to 'grow up'.
Yeah, we think Lloyd won this one.
