Not for the first time this season, Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has hinted at several changes to his side after another shambolic loss.

The Dockers were belted to the tune of 100 points by Adelaide at Adelaide Oval last night, Lyon's first triple figure loss in his 250 game coaching career.

Despite torrential rain at times, Adelaide managed to pile on 20.23 (143), while Fremantle managed just 6.7 (43).

Following the Dockers' 89-point loss to the Power in round two, Lyon made six changes and a similar number of omissions could made for Fremantle's clash with Collingwood at Domain Stadium next week, with Lyon stating that no player is safe from the axe.

"I don't think too many would put their head on the pillow tonight and think I'm absolutely safe because it's a performance business, whether you're a coach or a player," Lyon said post-match.

"We need to reward people who have been underneath pushing away."

Even star midfielder Nat Fyfe had a night to forget. The 2015 Brownlow Medalist finished with 25 disposals, but a disposal efficiency of just 52 percent, with the 25-year-old making 13 clangers and giving away six free kicks.

Lyon said the whole club was embarrassed by the performance.

"We embarrassed ourselves as a coaching and playing group with what we delivered," Lyon said.

"There won't be a heavy post-mortem, we acknowledge our form coming in over six out of seven weeks has been really workmanlike and building and we came here to continue on with that.

"They comprehensively obliterated us around the ball, around the stoppages and then we didn't defend that well when it went in and we didn't structure up very well to get it out.

"They're a very good team, but even by Crows' standards that was extreme."

Despite winning six of their last eight games, the Dockers, who are now 6-4, have a percentage of just 81.5, with their four losses all in excess of 40 points.
