Fremantle was forced to make an injury substitution against Melbourne.
Alex Pearce, who missed the entire 2020 season with an ankle injury suffered a knee injury in the second quarter and was replaced by medical sub, Stefan Giro.
The Dockers released a statement at half-timing confirming the knee injury and will not make a further announcement until he has had scans.
In other injury news, Melbourne forward Luke Jackson was taken to the rooms to be assessed for a shoulder injury.
