The West Coast Eagles have confirmed long-standing assistant coach Luke Webster will leave the club at the conclusion of the 2025 season.
Webster has been a member of the Eagles organisation for over a decade, beginning his tenure in 2015 as a development coach. Following the club's 2018 premiership, he was named as the senior coach for West Coast's WAFL affiliate for the 2019 season, before rejoining the AFL program in 2020 as a forward line coach, playing a role in Oscar Allen's breakout 2023 campaign.
In 2024, he transitioned to a backline coach, where he remained for the 2025 season.
“I'm incredibly grateful for the past 10 years with the club. It has been an unforgettable journey with defining memories I will carry with me always,” Webster said.
“What has truly made this experience so rewarding are the people I've had the privilege to meet and work alongside.
“The friendships and relationships formed during my time with the Eagles are ones I will value for a lifetime.
“Football has always been a part of who I am, and I hope throughout my time here my passion for the game, for this club, and for the players has been evident."

Eagles' General Manager of Football Gavin Bell praised Webster's impact and his commitment to the club.
“Luke has been a key member of our coaching panel for the past decade, building incredibly strong and genuine relationships with our players and staff,” Bell said.
“He played a vital role in a successful era for the club, helping shape our players not only as footballers but as people, always bringing energy, positivity and a deep commitment to our program.
“On behalf of the Football Department and the West Coast Eagles, I want to sincerely thank ‘Webby' for everything he's contributed. Luke will always be part of our club, and we wish him and his wife, Samantha, all the best for the future.”
The Eagles will look to send Webster off with a win in one of their final three games, with games against Adelaide, Western Bulldogs and Sydney to come.
