The Brisbane Lions have made a number of list changes ahead of the lodgement deadline.

Grant Birchall, Connor Ballenden, Rhys Mathieson, Cedric Cox and Mitch Hinge have all been delisted. However, the club has committed to re-selecting Birchall, Ballenden Mathieson in the rookie draft.

Veteran Ryan Lester has signed a two-year extension, tying him to the Lions until the end of 2023.

“I feel very proud to have been at the one club for a long period of time and that it is going to continue for a couple more years,’’ he told lions.com.au.

“Not many players get to be at the one club and I’m grateful for that and for the experiences I’ve had.

“This last season was the best we’ve had in my time at the club and hopefully there’s many good times ahead.’’

Tom Fullarton has been elevated from a Category B rookie onto the senior list, while the club has committed to adding Gaelic Football star Deividas Uosis as a Category B rookie.

Cox and Hinge join Jacob Allison, Matt Eagles, Corey Lyons, Toby Wooller, Sam Skinner, retiree Allen Christensen, new Bulldog Stefan Martin and Eagles recruit Alex Witherden in departing the club this off-season.
