Geelong have made a late change ahead of their semi-final clash with Sydney at the MCG on Friday night.
Defender Tom Longeran has been withdrawn due to an illness, and has been replaced in the side by Rhys Stanley.
With Lonergan retiring at season's end, he may have played his final match for Geelong.
Sydney will enter the match as selected.
