North Melbourne has been dealt a blow in its quest to claim its first win in 2017, with in-form midfielder Shaun Higgins a late withdrawal.
Higgins has been withdrawn from the selected side due to hamstring tightness. He is expected to be fit for round six.
He has been replaced by Nathan Hrovat.
