The Crows' off-season period is paying dividends after they thumped Sydney in Round 12, with their two notable recruits both entering the Power Rankings for the first time.

A Docker is creeping back up the rankings while an All-Australian performance out west has solidified a star Cat's stranglehold on first place.

Who's making the most impact in their new colours? Welcome to the weekly rankings of the Recruit of the Year contenders for 2025, with Round 12 giving us plenty to consider.

3. John Noble (-)

Despite the loss and perhaps a slightly underwhelming game for his recent standards, John Noble was still inarguably excellent against the Dockers. It was defensively where Noble shone most this time around, even with his 22 disposals, three rebound 50s and four score involvements. Noble finished the match with 12 pressure acts, nine coming in the defensive half and laid four tackles, one shy of a season-high.

With ball in hand, however, Noble was supremely efficient again with 19 of his 22 disposals being effective. Against Geelong next week, who lead the league in tackles, being clean with the footy will be paramount to a successful trip to Victoria.
