When it comes to commentary, we all have our favourites we like to listen to as we snuggle up on the couch late Sunday afternoon

From Eddie McGuire's energetic outbursts to BT's whit and humour, every commentator brings a unique personality to the table.

And Power great Kane Cornes has revealed his top five AFL play-by-play commentators.

Here is Cornes' list, courtesy of SEN:

Jack Heverin

Perhaps the least known name on this list, and that's probably because we never see him! Heverin calls SEN's Sunday games and commentates footy accurately and down the line, the way it should be.

Brian Taylor

Love him or hate him, you have to admit - listening to BT is about as entertaining as it gets. Not only do you get to watch footy, but there's a sideshow of comedy going on as well.

Gerard Whateley

Another SEN commenator, Gerard Whateley's analysis of games are insightful and engaging. If you haven't heard AFL 360's co-host call an AFL game, do yourself a favour and tune in to SEN on the weekends.

Bruce McAvaney

One of the all-time greats, Bruce McAvaney is a unique talent who brings over 40 years of media experience with him. The AFL brand and its biggest moments have become notorious with Bruce and Dennis Cometti's voices in the background.

Anthony Hudson

And about nine out of ten AFL fans would probably give this answer as well. Huddo tops the list as Cornes' favourite commentator, whose friendly demeanour and razor-sharp footy knowledge makes the viewing experience that much more enjoyable.

Let's be honest, in the big moments there is no one better screaming out a player's name. Think: "HOOOOOOOWEEEEEE did he do that!?".
