Richmond have secured the services of young gun Jack Higgins for another two seasons, with the Tiger now signed on until the end of the 2021 season.
The 19-year-old has played 11 games in his first season at the club, and has made an instant impact at the reigning premiers.
Higgins' energy adds to the mosquito fleet forward line of Daniel Rioli, Dan Butler and Jason Castagna when he's close to goals, while also impressing during his stints in the midfield.
Richmond's football manager Neil Balme spoke to AFL.com.au about the re-signing, and was pleased to keep the youngster around the club.
"Jack has made an exciting start to his football career and is settling into the club very well for a young man," Balme told AFL.com.au.
"We're looking forward to him continuing his development both on and off the field, he's a great talent and addition to our club."
