It was announced on Monday that long-time SEN host Kevin Bartlett was finishing up at the station, after 15 years on the air.

However, despite SEN reportedly agreeing to give KB time to farewell his listeners before finishing up on air, the company has now come out and said Bartlett's last show was on Monday night, and he wouldn't be on air again.

According to the Herald Sun, SEN boss Craig Hutchison axed Bartlett immediately, following comments made by Bartlett when speaking to the Sun on Monday.

“I really enjoyed the old SEN and it’s fair to say I haven’t enjoyed the new SEN,” Bartlett told the Herald Sun on Monday.

“It suits me to leave and it probably suits them that I leave as well."

KB's final broadcast on air was on Monday night, with Anthony Hudson and Terry Wallace set to fill in for Tuesday's drive-time show between 3pm-6pm, which was Bartlett's regular spot.

I liked the old SEN not the new version.
