With the AFL Players' Association MVP Awards night less than two weeks away, 18 players have been nominated for the Robert Rose Most Courageous Award.
To be awarded on Tuesday, September 12 at the AFLPA MVP Awards night, every player voted for one player from each club for who they thought was the most courageous player across the league.
Since the inaugural award in 1991, North Melbourne star Glenn Archer was handed the award six times over his career, while Sydney midfielder Paul Kelly won the honours five times.
Geelong captain Joel Selwood has the most awards among current players, and has a chance to win his fifth Robert Rose Award in 2017.
