Adelaide key forward Josh Jenkins will miss Saturday's clash against Essendon.
The big forward injured his ribs in Adelaide's round two win over Adelaide at the MCG following a collision with Hawks debutant Teia Miles.
Jenkins consulted a Thoracic Specialist on Tuesday which revealed he has significant damage to the Costochondral Cartilage as well as deep Thoracic bruising and has been ruled out of the match against his former side.
The 28-year-old will be a week-to-week proposition in the coming rounds.
Jenkins has kicked 186 goals in 95 games for the Crows.
