Carlton great Chris Judd is set to step down from his duties on the club's board at the conclusion of the 2021 season.

The two-time Brownlow medallist joined the Carlton board in 2017, two years after calling time on his 279-game career with the Blues and Eagles.

According to The AgeJudd will leave his football directors role as he looks to place a greater focus to his family and business interests.

Judd stepped aside from his media duties with Triple M and Channel 9 in recent years for similar reasons.

The 37-year-old's departure is the latest shuffle to Carlton's hierarchy, with president Mark LoGiudice also leaving the Blues at the end of the year.

Current board member Luke Sayers will take over the presidency role from next season, while there is no clear candidate to succeed Judd.
