Geelong star Jack Steven returned to club training on Monday and is "feeling good" after he was stabbed last weekend.

Details surrounding the incident are still murky as the former Saint checked himself into hospital last Saturday night.

He refused to divulge any further information about the incident to the police.

Walking into Kardinia Park on Monday morning, Steven was excited to return to the club and resume training.

“It’s good to be back. I can’t wait to get back into it,” he told reporters.

“(I’m feeling) nice and healthy.”

Geelong reopen their season against Hawthorn at GMHBA Stadium on Friday June 12.
