GWS Giants coach Adam Kingsley expects to have all of his key players ready for their crunch elimination final in two weeks, but he was not guaranteeing all will be selected to play.
In their rugged 11-point win over St Kilda to secure a home final, the Giants were missing several key players, including Jesse Hogan, Jack Buckley, Brent Daniels, Josh Kelly and Jake Stringer.
"Do we bring in five guys that haven't played in weeks or months?" asked Kinsgley, illustrating the selection dilemma. "It will be an interesting match committee that will last the next fortnight."
The Giants coach said a decision won't be made until the last minute, but it is expected that he will have to make critical changes if he elects to make a switch.
Kingsley also spoke on Stephen Coniglio, who suffered an injury early in the game.
"We will monitor him pretty closely over the next fortnight," said Kingsley.
Kinsgley was full of praise for captain Toby Greene, who rose to the fore in the clutch moments, including game-saving marks to help them get over the line.
"Well, that's Toby, isn't it?" said Kingsley. "I think he's outstanding."
Kingsley also recognised the crucial importance of some more experienced players who stepped up.
"Tom Green, Briggs around the stoppages were really good," said Kingsley. "Whitfield's run was important."
Although his side came away with the win, Kingsley was adamant that they needed to work on their ball movement and contest work over the next fortnight.
"We will review that and fix it within a fortnight," said Kingsley.
The emergence of Harry Rowston has caught the eyes of plenty in recent games, and he contributed 12 kicks and a goal on the weekend.
"We are really comfortable playing Harry, he's playing really good footy."
The GWS Giants will host an elimination final in the first week of September, with the opponent expected to be Hawthorn or Gold Coast.
