The Pies were extremely quiet compared to the previous three seasons, despite their desire to improve their list.

They welcomed exciting prospect Jack Buller from Sydney, but lost club cult-figure Brody Mihocek in the process.

Collingwood failed to win Clayton Oliver over GWS, and couldn't broker a trade for Jy Simpkin, even though they tabled two separate offers.
