Adelaide will be without Brad Crouch for the rest of today's game after the reigning Best and Fairest winner injured his hamstring in the second quarter.
Crouch is believed to have injured his hamstring kicking the ball forward while Kyle Langford tackled him from behind.
The 26-year-old immediately went to the bench and was then seen with ice on his right hamstring.
Stand-in Adelaide captain Tom Doedoee will also miss the rest of the game with a hamstring issue. The 23-year-old went off the ground with hamstring tightness in the third term and the Crows confirmed he is unlikely to return to the field.
Meanwhile, Essendon's Jayden Laverde will also miss the rest of the game with a syndesmosis injury.
Laverde had kicked one goal before his day was over.
