Former Geelong captain Mark Bairstow has revealed on SEN he doesn't like Geelong's direction under Chris Scott.
In nine seasons under Scott, Geelong has made the finals on eight occasions, including the last four straight. However, the Cats have lost nine of their past 12 finals.
Bairstow believes Geelong are too one-dimensional.
āIām not a great Chris Scott fan,ā he said onĀ SEN Track.
āItās easy sitting on the lounge to make comment but they just seem to be (doing) the same things all the time.
āTheyāve only got one forward, they donāt seem to mix it up enough for me.ā
Ex-Cat Liam Pickering suggested that there are a few other former Geelong players who also aren't fans of Scott.
āI think thereās a few of you in the same boat. Iāve noticed it the more we get talking about it with the ex-boys, there seems to be a few of them with that opinion on the coach,ā he said.
āPersonally, I havenāt noticed it enough, but maybe Iām not watching closely enough. But thereās a few of the ex-players in the same boat.ā
