Hawthorn legend Luke Hodge has made a move into commentary, with the four-time premiership player joining Channel Seven's football broadcast.

Hodge, a dual-Norm Smith medallist, regularly featured on Seven's broadcast providing viewers with mid-game insight and comments during his time with Brisbane.

“I’m really excited,” Hodge said.

“Commentary was something I wanted to do when I finished as a player.

“I’ve always wanted to stay in football, so to be able to commentate and stay in the game is something I’m really looking forward to.”
