North Melbourne star, Shaun Higgins is likely to come under heavy scrutiny from the Match Review Panel following a hit on Melbourne youngster, Clayton Oliver.
Higgins jumper punched Oliver in the opening quarter, with the hit flooring the young star.
The punch led to a scuffle between several players, with little spot fires breaking out for the following few minutes.
The incident was the first of many skirmishes throughout the first term and early in the second, with the two teams playing with plenty of aggression.
The analysis from the MRP will be watched closely, with jumper punches lately receiving little more than a fine. However, despite the fact Higgins had hold of Oliver's jumper, his hit was of substantial enough force to take Oliver to ground.
The MRP has set a potentially dangerous precedent with its previous adjudications of jumper punches and this week will be another interesting test of its parametres.
