GWS have announced multiple changes to their coaching cohort, with Jeremy Laidler and Jak Harvey both deciding to leave the New South Wales club.

Laidler, the forwards coach under Adam Kingsley, has opted not to renew his contract with the Giants after three years with the club.

The former Geelong, Sydney and Carlton player moved across town from the Swans ahead of the 2023 season, with Laidler previously the coach of Sydney's VFL outfit.

Laidler led the Giants' attacking line for his three campaigns alongside Kingsley, aiding the development of the club's emerging forward stars.

Harvey will leave his position as the club's opposition and player analyst, a role he took on at the end of 2023.

A former colleague of Kingsley's at Richmond, Harvey has now decided he won't look to extend his time with GWS beyond this year.

“Jeremy has made a significant impact during his time at the club,” GWS football boss Jason McCartney said in a statement.

“He played a key role in building a dynamic forward group and was a great role model for our young forwards.

“We completely respect his decision to step away and wish him all the best for the future.”

“Jack has been a valued member of our football analysis team, and we thank him for his hard work over the past two seasons.”

The Giants' coaching team under Kingsley still includes Brett Montgomery, Ben Hart, Craig Jennings, Shane Mumford, Wayne Cripps, Alicia Eva, Trent Dennis-Lane and Jason Davenport.
