17 of the 18 clubs have nominated their runners for Saturday's half-time Grand Final sprint, with Collingwood yet to select an entrant.

Collingwood's opponents on Saturday, the Eagles, have nominated their first pick from last season's draft Jarrod Brander, with some clubs opting for youth while others have gone with more experienced players.

GWS star Stephen Coniglio is the biggest name in the field, while Richmond's Jack Higgins will run just days after picking up the AFL's Goal of the Year for his spectacular goal against the Pies.

Two amateur footballers will also run, after qualifying for the positions.
