Gold Coast midfielder Jed Anderson has been granted indefinite leave from the Suns.
It is understood that Anderson's leave, granted without a timeline for return, is for personal reasons, with the club fully accepting of his circumstances.
In recent years, before making the move north to Carrara through the Supplemental Signing Period at the start of this season, Anderson donned Hawthorn and North Melbourne guernseys.
His most profound campaign came in Kangaroos colours last season, averaging 22.0 disposals, 4.0 marks, and 4.1 tackles.
Midfielder
Anderson managed just ten games for the Hawks before he was offloaded to Arden Street at the conclusion of the 2015 season.
The now-29-year-old would go on to play the majority of his football at the fledgling Roos, managing 89 games before he was delisted at the end of last season.
