The Suns and Bulldogs have exchanged draft picks with each other on the final day of the AFL trade period.

Gold Coast have secured picks 35 and 43 from the Dogs, as they send picks 26 and 80 to Footscray in return.

It is believed this deal was made in order to help the Suns trade for Adelaide midfielder Jarryd Lyons.

Gold Coast have been in deep discussions with Adelaide over securing the services of the 24-year-old, and it looks as though the Suns will send either pick 35 or 43 to the Crows in order to get the deal done.
